first the touch screen wasnt working and then about 15mins later i went back to it and now it isnt even turning on, also wont even charge

Why has nobody responded to help ? All you have to do is hold all of the buttons at the top of the device at the same time for a while and it will reset the device . I discovered that yesterday after watching a youtube video on it . I was stupid and left it in the car for 3 + hours and it wouldn't turn on . Hold The Pause/Play/Rewind buttons and the power button at the same time .

Will this work? without erasing any thing? or if you know your battery is dead dead like it was at 0?
