Bluetooth headset HS-500 is no more connecting to phone

I have a bluetooth headset device (HS-500) which I used regularly 1.5 years ago. I am trying to use it now with My Blackberry curve and another phone but my phones can't search the headset at all. It turns on but does not show at all when I search a bluetooth device in my BB or samsung phone.

 

Can someone help please? Is it possible that the software of my headset is outdated now???

You need to put the headset in pairing mode by holding the call control key (main button) for 5 seconds. Then do the search from the device.
