Try going to:
Options
Security Options
Firewall (click it)
Once open:
Hit the menu key (left of trackball)
Then click "Reset All Counts"
See if this clears the browser alert....

Regarding the 'browser-alert' which I have on my phone since half a year...
which 'options' do you mean in below answer?
if I press the options button on my blackberry pearl, i don't have the function 'options', but I go directly into the menu (where I can select, maps, gmail, settings, call log etc.).
Hope you can help me,
regards,

try the fllowing steps,
1. open your message folder
2. click menu to open "view folder"
3. then click "browser message" to open unread message
4. Or, click "WAP Push Messages" to open recent and previous browser messages
