Content Store

What is Content Store? I know its under Options>Status>File Free>Database Sizes, but what exactly does it represent? Mine always seems to take up quite a bit more memeory than anything else. Thanks in advance!

Blackberry device has embedded memory store. Different devices have different memory store sizes.

OK, well I couldn't find any reference in that article from CIO, but.....

 

The Content Store "Contains pictures and other media content stored on the smartphone.

 

More specifically, it stores (on device) RingtonesCustom Settings, and some (on device) pictures too (like ones associated with an Address Book Entry).
