Hello
Can anyone help me, how do i disable the GPRS or function to stop all internet activity with the blackberry i have, its a 8707g and i need some help badly folks

hey all, i think i did it, DOH, but not sure, i think its the 3g & 2g settings, so sorry for sounding thick on this, erm so i selected 3g only and now i dont get gprs, i wonder how much fact there is in this, these forums are the bee's knees. found what i was looking for . keep em coming i say !!!

On your device, go to Mobile Network Options and set Data Services to OFF.
Setting to 2g or 3g rather than gprs only allows faster data transfer.

hi
on this model i have, 8707, i go to network > in there all i have is
> network, ie service provider
> Network selection mode, auto or manual
> network mode, 3g, 2g, 3g&2g
Any ideas or is this model i have not able to switch off data services ?

i just went to my local phone shop , they said i cannot disable the data services on the model i have ! is this true ? seems quite odd !!
