Email on 8830

I recently gave my friend my old 8830 since I had bought a new phone.  She had it activated and we have set up her email on the device.  She has icons for each address supported.   But my old icons are still there and when she sends an email the default address is still my old email address.

How do I remove my old address icons from this device and how do i make her email address the default address?

Your help would be appreciated.

Re: Email on 8830

Options > Advanced > Service Books.

Find each of your email addresses (both [CICAL] and [CIMIME] and delete them.

Re: Email on 8830

Go to OPTIONS>ADVANCED OPTIONS>SERVICE BOOKS.

However if your BIS (Blackberry Internet Service) account is still pointing to the pin and ESN of the old device your email will come back on to it.

You will need to go to the website www.blackberry.com/go/vzw and remove or change your pin and ESN information or contact VZW and have the BIS acct deleted.

After that has been done, your friend can go to the same website and set up their email. Once that is accomplished they can go to email settings from the home screen on the 8830 and set the default email account.

Exactly where I and other user here described... start at Options. On some devices it is called Settings or Tools.
