I just bought a Blackberry Curve about 3 months ago.  Been sending and receiving text messages without problem.  However, I tried to send several text messages yesterday.  When I viewed my messages box I noticed that there were "clock" icons next to the messages I thought I sent, however when I called one of the intended recipients she informed me that she did not receive the text.  I do not know what the problem is or why these messages have not been sent.  Could somebody please give me some guidance on this issue.  I would rather not contact verizon because it takes so long to get an answer.  I really appreciate your time and thoughts on this topic.  I am not computer savvy, so basic language is the only way I will understand.  Thanks.

Confirm the below -

1. Go to Options
2. SMS Text
3. Service Center: ask you carrier to know the service center no.
4. Network to Send Over: Circuit Switched

Did you try deleting the message, re-createing and resending it?

Also, another thing you may want to do is pulling out the battery and retrying.

When you send a sms it comes outside via special facility: Short Message Service Center

Call your wireless carrier and check that number of Short Message Service Center (also known as SMSC, Service Center) is set correctly.
