New 8700

I have an 8700 that has startd to act up so i bought a new(to me) used one. I need to erase his phone contacts and retrieve my phone #s from the sim card.

You can wipe the device to erase all of the original owner's information from the device. Go into Options | Security Options | General Settings (or you just may have Options | Security Options). From in this screen click the trackwheel, and in the menu that comes up choose Wipe Handheld

 

Depending on the carrier your all have you should be able to put your SIM card into the device, then go into the Address Book, click the trackwheel and choose Copy All To Address Book.
