Backup your device information via BB Desktop Software.
Use "Advanced" feature to backup only these things which are necessary.
After that wipe the device memory.
Go to Options - Security Options - General Settings
Open menu and select: "Wipe handheld"
After that check Password Keeper. It should work.
And restore your saved data.

Thanks for the quick reply.
I performed all steps to the letter. Issue occurred again when I saved changes to an existing Password Keeper item.
Any more ideas? I know two people who received 8800 models when I did and they don't experience this issue.
