I'm hoping someone will finally be able to answer this question that I have asked before. With the common of the Playbook, and more so, closer to release. I was wondering if anyone knows if the Playbook will have some kind of "art" program, perhaps a dumbed down version of photoshop, which would be fantastic.
One of the reasons I am asking because the iPad currently has an Art/Drawing/Painting program and an Animation program that can be installed onto them. As much as I am a HUGE fan of Blackberry, I would really like a tablet that has options to do such thing as paint/draw on the fly, or perhaps even animate something for class.
I'm currently studying to become an Illustrator and Special Effects Artist and being able to draw/paint on the fly would be fantastic. I know the iPad offers an Art Program, AND an Animation Program. So hopefully someone will have the right answer for me.

There ae tons of developers making apps right now.
Also if there is one for andriod, the Playbook will be able to use that app as well.

I've been reseaching Art apps for my new Playbook since I recieved it.
Several of them show promise, but so far not a single one meets the needs of an even semi-serious artist.
I actually paid for Artpad by Jared Costall.
It uses layers, but lack even basic selection tools, undo, or even a simple earaser.
No load and save features either.
Unless I see some seriouse upgrades for free this was a complete waist of money.
DoodleAir is a little better. Eraser and undo functions but still lacking things like magnifiying glass for close up pixel work, and no layers.
For my money, I would love a port of Inkscape to the Playbook. Structured vector art is the way to go with a touch screen interface. I'd drop $50 for a working port of Inkscape.
