Bothe ear hooks for my HS-700 headset have broken. I could find no info on how to get replacements. I like the headset & do not think I have to buy anotherone to get the hooks.
What say you?

Yea, it is a good headset.
Check with ShopBlackBerry.com and see/beg to order a set.

In absence of any "official" feedback on this issue; I have come up with a quick ghetto work-a-round.
1. secure an extra long twist tie (at least 12" and black)
2. fold in half
3. insert the two "lose" ends in the ear hook hole.
4. push/pull through until you have about 3-1/2 to 4" to work with
5. size your new ear hook
6. twist to keep together
7. use a good fingernail clipper and clip excess from the "lose" end
8. viola! ear hook.
A bit "tacky" but mine works.
Too bad RIM couldn't/wouldn't respond to a real customer need.

I have a HS-500 Blackberry headset and just broke my ear clip. I'd appreciate any suggestions since the last discussion posted. I would also expect that a representative from Blackberry would be monitoring this feed and could offer some assistance. The product is great, I am the owner of a business that has supported Blackberry (all my executives have BB's) and it seems a shame if there is no other option then to replace the full unit.
I appreciate any help!

As you can see, there has been no response and/or comment to this situation since June 2011.
Don't expect any. This isn't the only thread on this subject. They were all met with 3rd party applications. BB doesn't seem to track such "trivial" matters.
