Sync with outlook

i am on Professional Server, I can sync calendar entries from outlook to 8830, but not the other way around.  my entry on 8830 does not go over to outlook.  any help?

Are you  the BPS Administrator?

Ok, some quick questions:

 

When did you install BPS:

How many users active on it:

What were you logged in as when you installed it:

What Server OS is it installed on:

What version of exchange is it connecting to:  (2003, 2007 etc)

Is it installed on the same server box as your exchange or its own member server:

 

One-way wireless calendar synchronization for one or more BlackBerry device users

I forwarded the KB to our IT.  They assured me that we have done all of them.  still, one way syncing only.

 

 

 

When did you install BPS: one year agao, but updated recently, two weeks ago

How many users active on it:1 only ,we are testing to deploy more

What were you logged in as when you installed it: Don't know what you mean?

What Server OS is it installed on: Windows server

What version of exchange is it connecting to:  (2003, 2007 etc): 2003

Is it installed on the same server box as your exchange or its own member server: yes.

What kind of "upgrade" did you do?? (there is no service packs to upgrade BPS)

What are you blackberry services running under? - Running under Local Account 

 

What kind of "upgrade" did you do?? (there is no service packs to upgrade BPS) -  Downloaded the latest release and re-installed software on top of existing

Why did you run an install file over the top? were you having problems apart from the syncing?

 

the syncing issues you are having is due to you running and installing it under the wrong service account.

 

It needs to be installed as BESADMIN service account in order to connect to exchange correctly and have the appropiate permissions.
