USB Connectivity Problem BB 9000 Please HELP!!

Hi Guys I am stuck with this problem and tried (almost) every solution found on the net. Let me confirm a couple of things before I describe the problem: # I have the correct USB cable, I conected BB 8700 using it # I have no virus, malware or antivirus program blocking my usb port # I have tried the latest and previous (v4) versions of desktop managers # I tried launching apploader via cmd prompt and deleted the vendor file # I tried the carrier specific upgrade packages of several versions (Telstra) but none of them found the device The problem is obvious, I can not connect it to pc via usb. The device charges while connected to pc, but never gets detected. I can see a windows "device is not recognized" sign when I connect after removing the battery, but after that no matter what I do the desktop manager won't detect it. I tried connecting it with bluetooth and got seriously annoyed when v6.10 can't do anything and v4 could let me backup my contacts and some other data. Version 6 can't even detect the name of the device. When I turn off and on, the device red LED is lit for a good while, it doesn't flash, doesn't do anything, just stays on for a while and then the phone turns on. Please let me know how to fix this, I am about to put a new usb port but don't think it's gonna change anything. Thanks for your helps and suggestions in advance.

Re: USB Connectivity Problem BB 9000 Please HELP!!

Hi wisechoice,

Just to verify the issue, is the BlackBerry® Bold™ 9000 smartphone having a software issue or error that you are trying to correct by reloading the BlackBerry® Device Software?

If there is no error on the BlackBerry device, this article should help you troubleshoot connectivity to the BlackBerry® Desktop Software.  http://bbry.lv/mydQVW

Thanks,
