I am unable to upgrade my Blackberry T-Mobile 8800, from 4.2 to the new 4.5. After downloading and running the apploader Web SL -Update, I receive the a message that my Blackberry all ready has the current latest upgraded version.
I need help. I want to upgrade to the new 4.5 version. Also, I am having the multiple rebooting issue too; especially since I attempted the upgrade.

Please clarify:
Does your device in infinite restart loop? I.e it restarts, waits several seconds and restarts again.
Correct ?

Tanzim is correct. If your carrier hasn't released 4.5 then the web update won't work. Here's a simple way to bypass that and install 4.5 on your 8800:

Ok, everyone....
Now I have a real mess on my hands! I attempted to upgrade my 8800 from 4.2 to 4.5 last night. It would not complete the installation of the application into my phone. Now I have a 507 error on my phone. What do I do now? HELP!!!

I.
Did the Application Loader upgrade complete through?
If not , did it start? ie did you get the ticks competing through and then stop in the middle?
Does the device start at all?
First if the device restarts and you get to the menu but clicking on an icon gets the error then reload the OS (yes, again
).
If the device shows three symbols with JVM 507 then reload the OS.
Basically reload the OS regardless.
If you still get the error then you may need to consult your carrier.
Failed OS reloads usually means you've bricked it. You'll have to consult your waranty process with your carrier.
