That's not possible. You can use the device as an IP modem for a PC but it will not act as a wifi connection.

The only other option which i tried that worked was to download an aplication called Tether which can be downloaded at https://tether.com the blackberry option costs $ 29.95 each and must be installed on your Blackberry device as well as the device required to connect with IE PC Laptop or Tablet. I downloaded the trial version and it worked fine. It can be connected either via blootooth or USB. Not sure if it used my Blackbery data service or dial up, will have to wait untill my next bill arrives. There is no WIFI Opption for connections. I personaly feel that it is a bit expensive when converted to ZAR which is about R 242.31. Not sure if you must purchase the software for each device IE Blackberry and Windows or Blackberry and Android etc.
Can't see why Blackberry has Blackberry bridge for both the Phone and Playbook but not for winodws or other devices to connect with. Lets hope that they will soon produce something. I know that the Samsung Tablet supports Wifi and 3G as well as being able to be setup as an Internet Hotspot. which the playbook can not do. If i could connect my blackberry with my laptop or other device using my blackberry data service then there will be no need for me to have an additional data plan which is costing me more than double as much as my Blackberry Service.
Hope this helps.
