Hi
Wonder if anyone is in a similar situation.
BES Express with BlackBerry torch
At the moment we have no BES10 service in work
Using the desktop manager to backup the torch first, I then went into link with both the torch and z10 connected.
Most of the torch settings transfer apart from Calendar, Memos, Tasks and Contacts. The system has detected that these come from a BlackBerry server, or rather are synced with a BlackBerry server.
With no BES10 environment I cannot find a way to copy the above info.
I have tried to de select the sync setting on each of the above "modules", I have also removed the Torch from the Express server, wiped the device and restored only the above.
Does anyone know how I can get my contacts on to the Z10 apart from importing each as a VCF?
Thanks

Adding a solution -
Created an account on outlook.com and setp email to this on the old BB making sure to select sync contacts.
Then on the Z10 setup the outlook account and the contacts then synced down to the Z10
For info, I have tried bluetooth transfer of contacts but that failed to work.

Hello Markhale,
Thank you for the update!
Also another solution is to use the Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync option if you have this enabled on the Exchange server, this would pull your information wirelessly from the Exchange server to the BlackBerry smartphone:
1. Select Settings
2. Selects Accounts
3. Select Add Account
4. Select Advanced at the bottom
5. Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync
Thanks.
