blackberry 9360 black screen help!!

I have a square come up on my screen with multicoloured lines, I have tried taking the battery out, reinstalling to factory settings but it is still there, I also cannot update through the blackberry desktop software as it says to verify internet connection even though I have full internet coverage.  Any help would be most appreciated as I am pulling my hair out!! cheers

That actually sounds like it might be a hardware issue...for which no amount of software or OS level fixes will be of use. But...

I'm a little confused how you reset to factor without the Desktop Software, for truly doing that requires the Desktop Software, so this is a bit confusing, and therefore difficult to help with. If you can clarify, perhaps we can help.

Is that the exact and complete error message? From must bits of error messages, there is a lot of room for error...the exact and complete error you receive would be much more helpful. Indeed, for you to most quickly receive possible resolutions, you should simply look up the error message in the public KB database:

Good luck and let us know!
