Ok, I won't continue banging my head against this brick wall.
If you choose not to take the advice, that is fine with me, but please don't tell me you know it is NOT the problem, when you have have chosen not to take the advice.
I have seen it way too many times, where the SIM doesn't work in one BlackBerry, but it works well in another device, or even in another BlackBerry. How many times -- too many. And once the user gets a SIM swap from their carrier, it works in the the device. Not 100%, but way TOO many times, it does work.
But there is nothing else you can be helped with here. The issue you are experiencing with call making and receiving is controlled by the SIM, not any option on the BlackBerry.
Good luck.

Sr, In reference to your comments, we were testing the device with other SIM from the same operator and others operators. All cases the device show the same problem decribed.
I understand that the problem is into the BB once we download the software updating form the blackberry site

Hi there!
FWIW -- these forums are a user-to-user support channel, not a user-to-RIM conduit. As such, the support you receive is voluntarily provided by other users who may or may not have information pertinent to your specific situation. But, those who spend time on this board do so voluntarily -- to help out as best they can.
FWIW2 -- Formal front line support for BB's is, by contract, not provided by RIM nor is it available on these forums. The carriers and authorized resellers are responsible for front line formal support to end users. It is possible to bypass your carrier and seek assistance direct from RIM, but such involves fees since you are bypassing your support agreement with your carrier. The "Support and Services" tab toward the top of these forum pages provide information about that. But, if you do go through your carrier for support, they can escalate into RIM at no fee to you if they so choose to.
Lastly -- I am only posting this due to your choice of font and all-caps in your latest post. See this for reference:
If you intended to yell here, then (IMHO) what you have succeeded in doing is to yell at those very volunteers who would like to have tried to help you out as best they could. While I may have chosen a different path, everyone is free to choose the path that they believe will provide them with the result that they desire.
Good luck!
button inside of their post. Further, if you are the original poster (OP) and your issue is solved, please remember to (on the post that is the solution) click the "Accept as Solution" button so that others can more easily find it. Cheers! Oh...and FWIW...I am not a RIM employee...and these forums are user-to-user...not user-to-RIM.

Dear Sir,
I appreciate your explanation about the concept of this forum.
But I feel very dissapointed with the support received in Argentina.
The carrier (Personal Telecom) that gave me the BB 8100, once finish the warranty, they said that they cannot give any kinf of support , any more.
For the other side, in Argentina there is not an official distributor of blackberry to support the devices after warranty
So, I have a device without support and without use.
I need this 8100 to my job !!!
