"Enter blackberry to continue" message.

my blackberry bold 9780 is not accepting my pin instead it shows me "Enter blackberry to continue" message.pls help me. i have put my password but instead of displaying asteric it displayed my password in both capital and small letters and when i press enter it just dont open pls assist me thanks

Often users who have multiple numerals in their password will only press the ALT key for the first numeral and not those following, so for instance, if your password were "1234", you might have been pressing "Alt 1234" on the device, which makes the actual password to be "1ers".

Does that make sense? Does it sound familar to your usage?

So check the way you enter your password on the device... do you think you are entering multiple numbers but actually are not?

thanks a lot but last night i finally understood what it meant by "Enter blackberry to continue" which means first you type blackberry then press ok to continue by putting your pass word and your phone is ok to use.

finally i understood what " Enter blackberry to continue" which is just a command that u need to follow first, u type blackberry then you continue by pressing ok key then you type ur pin and then ur ok key. now your phone will be open for use and ur problem is solved.
