Blackberry protect

To whom this may concern .

I recently had my blackberry bold stolen, went on the blackberry protect website in attempts too locate my phone, I took note off some off the features available in security measures  available, one in particular feature that stood out was the View location, but it comes too read "BlackBerry Protect cannot locate devices that are turned off or disconnected from the wireless network"Obviously now removing that option from the equation, I would like too raise a concept which would help and be off convenience too blackberry owners, who go through such ordeals.

The concept.

From the blackberry protect account  to enable an option that is password protected that allows you too turn your phone on from the blackberry account and enabling  the wireless network ,in so that you are able too use your view location too track your blackberry and have it in the hands of the rightful owner

Thanx

Re: Blackberry protect

But if the device has had the SIM card removed by the thief, or, you've had the SIM card disabled by your mobile provider, there is NO way to make a connection to the device.

Otherwise, your idea is a good one.
