Changing Platform to use memory card for Aplications

You are now offering a lot of nice application in App world, but I can not have all the ones I want because I run out of application memory on the black berry. You need to rewrite the OP system to allow the memory card to be used for application also not just media. Other PDA's(ie audiovox, treo) allow this feature.

I read this feature is available on the new BB9700,  will RIM be putting out a patch or OS update allowing other BB to do this?
