I have an idea that I think would make the phone software very useful. The reason I keep my Blackberry instead of move to the iPhone is because of its business practicality.
The idea is this - when you mark an email, text, or visual voicemail "unopened," prompt for a "follow-up time." For instance, I have dozens of "unopened" emails that I will eventually go through - some of them more important and/or timely than others. So, if I could set a reminder to follow-up on my email at a specific time as I was marking it "unopened," I'd respond to emails more efficiently.
Just throwing an idea out there.
Thanks,
John

You really don't need to mark it unopened to do this.
While you're read the email, and you realize, "I need to follow up on this tomorrow" or whatever, click the Menu key > Flag for Follow Up, set the date and time to pop up the reminder.
So, yo can keep the email marked read, AND you can quickly scroll through your email and see the red flags for those item needing follow up, AND you can also search only on the flagged messages to see only those in one screen.

Try it, do what I said, you'll see the date/time appear so that you can set it for follow up.
Click on the DUE = None and set the date.
