Suggestion - Touch with keyboard ??

This will probably get lost in the sauce. I am new to Blackberry, I have the Tour on Sprint...It is a nifty little device...But I miss my touch screen slash keyboard I had with my palm treo. So this made me wonder why there is only one touch screen blackberry device and it is on one network. I would switch devices if BB came out with a device that looked like my tour/bold/curve that was touchscreen with the keyboard...I cant understand how bb is behind on the multi function device...even LG and Samsung have devices like this...And I cant stand not being able to get the phone I want from my provider...so if this did come out and it was on a carrier other than Sprint I still wouldnt get it because i enjoy my carrier services at there current prices. I actually hate it when they come out with stuff that is only for specific carriers that makes me want to stay away from that brand....because they are not versitale...

I agree with you 100%. This is not new technology nor is it impractical technology. Touch screen devices have been out since the 90's. The decision not to include this in blackberry devices is unknown to me.

Blackberry says " there is a blackberry for everyone", well thats not true. I do not see the difference with all these BBs out there, they have the same functionalities. Maybe the specs are slightly different, but generally the same. Make a BB like the tour with a touch screen and a lot of people, myself included would be fully satisfied. Not a slide out or flip out keyboard, a regular BB qwerty with a touch screen.

It cant be that hard to concieve. People say "its not necessary", and i tell them "when it comes out, dont buy it, that BB is not for you". Storm2 is ok, but full touch screens arnt for me nor a lot of people. I dread the delicacy of the full screen. one has to be worried bout screen protectors and stuff, and lets hope it doesnt get scratched, oooh no.

It would be a nice phone, and extreemly practical, I just dont understand.
