hi!
I installed Ripple (and all the Java requeirements) and followed this tutorial in order to develop my first HelloWorld app ![]()
But when I tried to view my project in the Ripple emulator, I realized that I don't have directory "RippleSites" to put my project in.
What could I have done wrong?
How else can I test my app in ripple?

Finally I figured it out...
For anyone else who may have come across this:
In my case the problem was, that I have two users running on my machine. One admin user and one standard user (me). While installing ripple (in the context of the admin user) the directory "RippleSites" has not been created. For whatever reason.
Well, the solution was as obvious as simple: I just created the missing directory myself und put my HelloWorld project in.
Now I can access it through Ripple (http://localhost:9900/HelloWorld/index.html).

Hi Charoo. i was reading that you could find a solution to your problem and that's great. I need to Know if you can help me with my problem. i want to do the tutorial that you are doing right now but i can not get there because i can not work properly with the tools tha RIM is giving to me. I means, i can install the ripple but when i try to run it, it appears an error message: "C:\Program Files\Research In Motion\Ripple 0.9.0.16\ QtopenGL4.dll no esta diseñado para ejecutarse en Windows o contiene un error". With the webworks sdk the probem is worst, it can not install at first. So, i can not run neither the ripple emulator not the webworks. I am using windows 7 64 bits (Spanish). i have installed java SE 6 (1.6.0_u31) 64 bit edition (but i have the 32 bit edition too). Maybe the problem is the language of my operating system?? i am using Windows 7 x64 spanish edition. i am going to post this problem in the community too. Thanks and best regards.
