The server down message appears to be a custom error displayed by the application. What error or exception is thrown to trigger this error? What are its .toString details? Which transport route is being used for the network connection? Which BlackBerry handheld software version are you testing on? You can find this under Options, About on the BlackBerry Smartphone.

Yes , this is a custom error that is being thrown when ever the application is trying to access the web service and fails to do so for what so ever reason. This could be a connection problem or could be an accessibility problem. The application would throw SERVER DOWN error message.
OS on Blackberry Device is 6.0.
Blackberry JRE being user is 5.0.
My development editor is Eclipse 1.5.
I am using kSoap2 to access the webservice.
I must point out that this error is not being generated on other BB Device.

What is the full, 4 digit version used? What error or exception is thrown to trigger this error? What are its .toString details? With that I might be able to offer suggestions. A custom error from an application doesn't provide any insight into what exception is triggering the error.
