may be they could share the system bars, so that we could just reinstall them. for testing purpose i installed pb camera app, but it doesn't work good. also i couldnt port android apps because pb bars of android runner don't work(sad but not so much, so for me only camera app is enough)

I believe wipe did more than just system bar deletion ... I suggest you don't spend too much tim over this. Some of us did, w/o success.

Some PB2.1 bar's work. Most are wrong size / orientation. Don't waste your time and just look at using webworks / cascades for development. I've learnt Qt since I wiped my device and its awesome!

it could have been removed some libs, but for camera one from pb works,but of course incorrectly sized.
anyway you said my thoughts, i was going to use cascade, and i miss the pim api

Just to let you know that I finally was able to debrick the Dev Alpha with the latest Desktop Manager 7.1.0.31, go get it in the Beta zone

I have installed BBDM7.1.0.31, and installed the DeviceManager driver from BB10. The device is still showing the "installing Drivers" screen. And BBDM shows that no device connected. Please help. thanks.

With the wiped device without camera application, After i reinstall the BBM7.1.0.31 and the BB10 dev alpha device driver, when the device was connected by USB, the information showed the driver installed still failed. So what is wrong?

And it said the device unplugged!

@ BelieveBill Please make sure your alpha is configured as bellow (my working settings, previously had same problems) :

- Password protected

- File sharing on (no extra PW) + USB Conexion mode set to Windows/Mac accordingly to your config

- Developer mode ON
