BB10 Dev Alpha Simulator - how to exit System Settings?

Incredibly stupid question.

I'm running the BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha Simulator BB10_0_09.2318 with VMware Player.

I went into System Settings -> Security and Privacy -> Development Mode to enable development mode, as instructed by the "Using the BlackBerry 10 Dev Alphasimulator" instructions.

But how to I get out again? I'm assuming there's a physical "back" button on the phone, but how do I emulate this on the simulator? I had to reboot to get back to the home screen, and I'm sure that's not intended.

Re: BB10 Dev Alpha Simulator - how to exit System Settings?

OK solved my own problem.. it's the "swipe upwards from the bottom bevel" maneuver.

Ah, gesture UIs.. so simple once you know them, so completely impossible to ever figure out unless you have a manual..

Re: BB10 Dev Alpha Simulator - how to exit System Settings?

I am stuck in the systems settings.

Swipe upwards does not work for me.

If I swipe upwards from within the settings, it scrolls upwards.

If I swipe upwards from benieth the settings, nothing happens.

If i swipe downwards from above the settings, I get options: Restore Default, Sort and Done.

If I select Done the options disappear and reverts back to System Settings.

Quite frustrating.

BlackBerry 10 Device Simulator BB10_3_1.1949 - VMware Player, running on Windows 7 PC.

Out of despiration I tried the following.

Resize the VMware window, make it tiny by selecting the bottom edge, and draging it to one inch from the top.

Then pull the bottom edge back down again way past where it was. It then resizes.

Now the swipe upwards worked.

Sheesh.
