Re: Blackberry 10 Dev Alpha fails to Turn ON

I spoke a bit too soon. Haha. The camera app doesn't seem to be working. It is showing a black screen when I launched it. But that's a minor issue. The UI overhaul certainly makes it up. Besides, I just sent my FIRST bbm message to a colleague's BB device!

Re: Blackberry 10 Dev Alpha fails to Turn ON

Oh, I will try to download an app that uses the camera then.

One more thing. I noticed on the bottom left hand corner of the screen, there are some sort of debugging information displayed and changing every so often. Is there a way to turn that off?

See bottom left of the image. It appears all the time, even in lock screen.

Re: Blackberry 10 Dev Alpha fails to Turn ON

I see only orange triangle with black border, I don't know why. Anyway, I don't have such issue. I tried to look for some debug information in the os but found nothing. Maybe it is connected to the language you ouse on your device? I use Polish, I have such idea because there are some mestakes in the OS with translations and misplaced text.

Re: Blackberry 10 Dev Alpha fails to Turn ON

After updating my Dev Alpha last night the device is having major problems. Upon turning on it displays the Blackberry 10 logo for 10-15 seconds before going blank. After another 30-40 seconds it appears the device successfuly boots as I am able to press the volume up/down buttons at the same time and it makes an audable camera noise.

When attempting to connect to Device Manager it complains I need to complete the setup process.

I have tried updating the device using the WipeReload batch file (which seems to happen successfully) and repairing/updating the device through device manager all multiple times but nothing seems to fix the issue.

Device was behaving normally prior to the update.

Anybody have any ideas?

Thanks!
