Hi,Anyone having an issue with the camera in this update?
I see the app for like half a second and then the screen blanks out.

I am having the exact same problem with the camera as well.
Minimizing the process will reveal the camera but upon restoring it, it blanks the screen.
The browser does this on occasion too.

Yeah, my Dev Alpha have the same problem too. After take a few photo the camera view finder turn into blank-black screen, but if you rotate the device, for a seconds you can still see there is still a view finder active.
Perhaps RIM will fix this issue soon ![]()

I've found a workaround of sorts for the blanking out issue with the BB10 Camera...
If you shutdown and restart the device (not just reboot) often you can get into the camera app without it blanking for a while. As soon as you manage this, open the menu and change the aspect to 4:3. Once you've changed this setting it shouldn't ever blank again, at least mine hasn't!
Not the best of solutions, but at least it allows us to make use of the camera!

Also, the TimeShift feature is very buggy:
a) the top left hand portion keeps going black and white and switching to colour
b) its much slower on the dev alpha a, than on the dev alpha b, but that could be because of processor.
