After repeated trying uninstall and reinstall and wrong password recognization in 2 hours, I finally get my device wiped. But now PC can't recognize the device when plugging in through USB and also no developer setting. Now I can't also revert it back to 10.0.6.671. In the home screen only a web browser application appears. How can I use this half-bricked device for my app development for BB10? S-H-I-T RIM.

sorry to here you are having issues getting your device upgraded. Check out https://developer.blackberry.com/blackberry10devalpha/ for some troubleshooting steps and if that doesn't work there is a support email address you can engage.

i'm just fix my BB10DA

it's just simple trick

connect your device to PC
then running the WIPERELOAD.bat , if not connected ,please hold and press POWER BUTTON until the red blinking and at the PC shows USB : PIN UNKNOWN then click OK and NEXT

so, waiting for it until success

NOTES :
I highly recommended do it on PC/LAPTOP with WINDOWS 7
because i've try on WIN XP SP3 is always FAILED for many times,really annoying

There is also a solution for the ones that have updated.

this works if you have installed app loader 7.1.0.34

open Desktop Software plug device in (it will will say unknown and not connect)

press and hold the volume up and down till it restarts

then DS will say about repairing, click repair then update

while it is looking for update the device will be booting up (do not let it fully load the os, since the device loads faster then DS needs)

a little bit after the device starts to show the color circles press and hold the volume up and down to reset the device again to give DS more time.

it should find the modules and start downloading them, so now you wait till DS has finished installing the modules

Hey I just got the Alpha B yesterday and it says in the settings>About>General 

that its running 10.0.9.388 should i do the https://developer.blackberry.com/blackberry10devalphas/update

Also currently I dont have a micro simcard installed. Tapping on the phone icon does nothing. And also tapping on the  search button is also unresponsive. I was wondering if it is possbile to use the phone as an everyday phone. At the very least i want to be able to send sms, mms, make calls, and maybe even use camera while on call.
Did anyone here try to use the phone on 10.0.9.388 with a sim card yet ?
