Re: DevAlpha not updating on Desktop (Bundle 33) - 7.1.0.32

@Smartek @Nikog21 I'm sitting here checking for updates every 30 minutes or so lol.

I wonder what % of the DevAlphas have been able to get it working.

At least there will be some BB10 apps on App World by the time we get it working.

Well, at least the new SDKs are out.  ;-)  I guess I'll play with those while I wait for an update on this situation.

What about tneil's statement just a couple of posts prior to yours?

I'm sorry to hear you're having upgrade problems.  We currently have people working on the problem.

Re: DevAlpha not updating on Desktop (Bundle 33) - 7.1.0.32

I'm now having bigger issues than no update.

My dev alpha won't properly connect to DM anymore since I did a security wipe...

I've managed to get the repair prompt a few times, but no updates...

[ Edited ]

There are other threads that mention problems with the DevAlpha after wiping it!  It removes the camera app, for one, and also the Andriod Runtime.  I think some people have been able to get it to reconnect with the DM though. Hopefully once the new firmware update is working it will repair the state of your DevAlpha.

Edit: this thread talks about the problem wiping your DevAlpha:

Re: DevAlpha not updating on Desktop (Bundle 33) - 7.1.0.32

Talked to some of our infrastructure folks and it looks like the infrastructure for updates is working properly.  However some of the configuration settings to detect upgrades based on hardware id's and the device state (device in trouble vs just looking for an update) may not be configured properly.

Which is why some people are getting the upgrade and others are not.

We have multiple teams tracking down the configuration to ensure you get your DevAlpha updates as soon as possible.
