Hi,
I'm trying to put an app on the VMWare simulator (found here >> https://bdsc.webapps.blackberry.com/android/tool) through Eclipse.
I have the Playbook Simulator up and running in VMWare with Development mode turned on and the IP properly put in as a target in Eclipse.
The full error:
[2012-02-03 22:54:42 - TexasOdds-Playbook] Packaging project ...
[2012-02-03 22:54:53 - TexasOdds-Playbook] Launching BlackBerry Android Runtime...
[2012-02-03 22:54:59 - TexasOdds-Playbook] Status ERROR: net.rim.ajde code=0 Android player is not available on 192.168.142.128. Please make sure it is installed. null
192.168.142.128 is the IP that Development Mode on the Playbook Simulator is telling me.
Can someone point out to me what I'm doing wrong?

I've found a guide: https://bdsc.webapps.blackberry.com/android/docume
However, I have a different problem now, I've installed some apps on the PlayBook emulator, but those won't start. And i don't know where/how to look for the problem.

yes, I have the exact same issue. didn't recognize the simulator when tried "run as black berry...", so I followed the above steps. it installs the app on my simulator, but doesn't run...any idea on this? probably something to do with the bar file not being created properly.

Seems like we've got the wrong image. Download the one from here:
