Re: Failed to connect Server

What BlackBerry Smartphone model and BlackBerry device software version are you testing on?  You can find this under Options, About on the BlackBerry Smartphone.

What type of connection are you making?  If it is a TCP based connection, what transport route are you using?

Re: Failed to connect Server

There are many different routes you can use to establish a socket connection.  Which one are you using?  You can read about them here:

Different ways to make an HTTP or socket connection

This sample tool can also help you determine which routes are available.

Re: Failed to connect Server

It appears that you have access to connect using that APN, otherwise you would receive an IOException with the message "Tunnel Failed".

In this case it seems that the server you are trying to access is unreachable.  Does the APN you are using provide access to the Internet?  Is the server publicly accessible over the Internet?
