We have just released an update for BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha users that corrects the "program has ended" issue. You can update using Desktop Manager, which is available here.

Am getting no update available message.
Have completed the steps to update Desktop Software.
Ran the file AppLoaderWebSL_7.1.0.34 and following updated:
BlackBerry Device Manager 6.0.0.57
PlayBook Driver Inte rface 1.0.0.43
Application Loader 7.1.0.34
Then started Dev Alpha device via 30sec hold to reboot and connected to computer via USB. Device shows connected successful screen. (BB Desktop not running)
Next ran the batch file WipeReload.bat. Device connection box prompt dispayed with correct Pin for connected Dev Alpha and pressed OK. Updating BB Device Software dialog displayed with Please wait ... msg. Then as it was connecting to boot ROM, Dev Alpha device was turned off and disconnected. Updating BB Device Software dialog displayed error "There is no update available".
Am running WinXP and registry entries were OK (no SLSURL, WebSLURL keys)
Current Dev Alpha OS level is 10.0.4.188.
Would greatly appreciate any assistance.
Thank you

The computer says "BlackBerry smartphone connected", but the PIN does not show either in the Device Manager or in the pop-up from WipeReload. Also, Desktop Software does not see it. The port and cable are good, it recognizes a regular BB.
When plugged in, the Alpha sometimes goes back to "BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha" splash screen, and then back to the "program ended" screen.
