Hi all,

I am having problem in accessing Settings screen on simulator.

When I click on  the "Settings" application icon, black screen displayed with Blackberry 10 text. And simulator does not proceed further.

What needs to be done here?

No Reply from anyone. Kindly help in this issue. As it is really critical, I want to set location permission on simulator.

Restart the simulator and choose option 2 on startup to choose software rendering.  Your video card and/or drivers may not support OpenGL 2.0.

Thanks, followed your suggestion and I am able to set location access permission from settings screen.

I wanted to ask other thing: May I now restart the simulator with selecting option1? Or simulator will work with safe mode properly?

You'll likely run into further issues if you use option 1 on startup.  You could try to update your graphics drivers and see if that fixes the issue for you.

Feature wise, it's fine to run in safe mode.  The main thing you won't be able to do is resize the simulator.  Performance will also be slower.
