How to take a screenshot from a Pc/Mac?

[ Edited ]

Hi,

Is there a way to take a screenshot of a USB-connected BB10 device from a Windows command prompt or terminal window?

I am thinking of a similar way like there was the "JavaLoader /screenshot" command for the previous generation of BB devices.

Not that I know of.

Of course you could always take one of the simulator.

Does it not suit your use case to simply press the up and down volume buttons simultaneously on the device and then pull the screenshot out of your device's cameral roll folder over your USB cable?

No, I am thinking to make the process automatic, with no user interaction. Actually I'd like to make something like a screencast service, but working via the USB cable, without the need for networking. Pretty much the same what you can do with adb on Android.
