I couldn't get a debug token

Hello!

I'm Juanma from Spain (and I don't speak English very well)

I'm trying get a debug token for my blackberry Playbook, but I don't know what's wrong when I use blackberry-debugtokenrequest, because it said that I must be registered and I am registered on blackberry, I think that its possible that I must be registered as vendor but I'm not sure.

I've got another question: I'm developing an app in marmalade but I don't know how to run it in my playbook, the problem said that I need a "BlackBerry Author ID":

ERROR: Info: Package created: C:\Users\Juanma\Documents\Quick\Projects\MyFirstApp\deployments\default\playbook\debug\MyFirstApp.bar
Error: bar4048788377155908783.MF, Invalid value "Juanmabs22" for Package-Author-Id.

I supposed I need the debug token to try it but I'm not sure.

Thanks! :smileywink:

Re: I couldn't get a debug token

I can't see the screenshot you posted below.  What error are you getting when you try to request a debug token?

You will need to have installed BlackBerry code signing keys in order to create a debug token.  Have you done that?

I think that i need a active vendor account for get it, and my vendor account status is disable.

I've done all process with the signing keys with the BlackBerry SDK and i've got a backuo with the .p12 and with marmalade i've got some terminal programs to get the debug, sign the .csj jeys, etc...

Thanks! :smileywink:

Re: I couldn't get a debug token

That error means the key to create debug tokens isn't installed on that computer.  When you registered for BlackBerry code signing keys you should have received 2 files with a csj extension.  Make sure you install both of them.

Re: I couldn't get a debug token

Have the csj files been installed on another computer?  They can only be installed once.  If so, use the backup and restore procedure to copy them to your other computer.

Re: I couldn't get a debug token

Hello I have a simailar problem. I downloaded the two .csj files to my desktop.

Question 1) Do I have to add those files anywhere?

Question 2) When I navigate to the bin folder on my mac, I type in the command and then I get a bash error. Any suggestions?

You can use the link below to locate instructions for installing the csj files using your BlackBerry SDK of choice.
