Local Notifications

Hi,

How can I test Application Notifications.  My understanding is that these notifications will show up in the HUB.  Assuming this assumption is correct.  How can I test my notifications.  I have added the code to send notifications.... I see in the Settings that my application is registered as one of the notification applications, but how can I see that the notification is being sent?

Thanks

Re: Local Notifications

You can't access the hub yet.  If you have a BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha you could listen for the audio tone and watch for the flashing red LED after you emit the notification.

I don't have the actual device, but in sim I can see the red star on the app icon, does that mean something is there?

Also, if you can share a working code that would help greatly!! ( I am using AIR)

Thanks

Re: Local Notifications

Yes, the red star indicates a new notification.  So if you see that it was a success.

If you have a question specific to AIR I recommend starting a thread on that in the AIR forum.
