Micro SIm is not detected in BlackBerry Dev Alpha

Hi,

 

In my BB 10 Dev Alpha, when i am entering the micro sim it is not recognized by the device. My Dev alpha is updated with latest version and working fine with wi-fi. I am from India and Carrier of the Microsim is Airtel. The sim enabled with 3G plan. And most interestingly, i put it in my friends Dev Alpha and there it is able to recognized although that OS version is not latest one.  Please help me..
