I found it to be faster after restarting again.
If only Flash worked I would be very happy. Any more ideas before I do a wipe?

Hi!
After upgrading to 2.1 beta my app stops working fine.
I think there might be an issue with the browser/webkit as this:
document.body.scrollWidth
Is never working fine now, it always returns window width but does not return the scroll width.
My app uses a webview to show content and depends completely on this ![]()

I did a security wipe to fix Flash not working. Flash works now but...
Android doesn't work at all! The icon of Android apps flashes but nothing else happens, no windows open. Android seems to be 1.8 version, no support.
And the native mail app seems to be 2.0 now, no portrait mode.
I did two security wipes but the result is the same. Guess I will try downgrading to 2.0... Unless a fix for this is in the works? Please respond.

Crackberry folks suggested to others to sign up for the beta again. Worked even though it was already reporting itself as the beta... Native mail is portrait, Android loads and flash works. Cool.
Double post sorry but wanted to reply to boy threads.

After I updated to OS 2.1.10.560, all worked fine for 24 hours, but since this morning I am not able to access my email, calendar or contacts because of this "Unable to open a PIM session" that lists a series of line code errors and a "service Error 4". I have tried a hard reboot, deleted and recreated all accounts. I was able to re-access my emails but not send after deleting and re-adding the accounts, but then the same error appeared. What is up---I am a developer and now I am wasting my time with PIM issues that I thought were resolved... I was able to see the landscape PIM services and it all worked fine for a day. I am/was a PB fan, but this is rid![]()
iculous even for beta release....

Suggestions for 2.1.x:
1. Add a sound control/mute icon to the top toolbar, next to the Bluetooth and WiFi icons. When the tablet is in a protective rubber skin the sound buttons are difficult to operate.
2. Add an AdBlock option to the PB browser settings. The pop-up blocker is not very effective and Flash ads on some Web pages completely monopolize the CPU making the PB almost unresponsive.

I still have the same problem in Bridge Messages, the application opens, stay white with a green spinning circle as described in BlackBerry Knowledge Base KB29651 ... When will you fix it ?!?!?! :/

updated to OS 2.1.0.560. I like the landscape PIM functions (mail, calendar, contacts). I now, unfortunately have the following issues:
(1)had "Unable to Open PIM" error (resolved by deleting all accounts and recreating--had to do it several times);
(2)no FLASH, cannot play any flash content (have not resolved this) and
(3) I cannot send out any email on IMAP--I get the infamous "red X" and the error: "Interruption in sending this message". So now, I cannot send ANY email and cannot watch my evening news on the PB or Flash videos/movies. These should not be errors on a beta release---especially the flash issue--any solutions to points (2) and (3) above anyone? I miss my PB!
Update: June 6, 2012:
Not being able to send email seems to be related ONLY to my AOL IMAP/SMTP accounts; can send GMAIL, HOTMAIL and my company IMAP/SMTP mail. Also, the PB now syncs quickly and nicely with sent/received email
Still no FLash so I cannot watch the CTV National News while I do chores in NYC...LOL...no Youtube either. NFB still seems to work, not sure why watching the CTV news will not work and the browser freezes and crashes at that point. I will just have to watch the news on my laptop for now, as I like the additions (landscape PIM, individual windows for Anroid apps), and hope that the full gold release will address the FLASH issue.

To fix flash you need to do a security wipe, sign up for the beta again and install the beta AGAIN. What a pain...
