I've noticed that power button stopped working on my BB10 after update Dev Alpha 10.0.6.386. As workaround I'm using soft button to manage it.

Have somebody got the same issue?

Is there a solution for this issue?

I am unable to update my device it always says connection Reset after downloading 20-25 modules.

Ignore the message and it should complete. If message has ok buttin, or close button click that. In addition keep touching the screen of bb10 so that it remains active. May be it goes into sleep mode. I had also seen a similar message during the update

@vlasov01 it has been widely reported that tapping the power button doesn't work after the update.

If you need to shut the screen off the only way seems to be holding down the power button and hitting standby.

Sometimes i got problem waking up the device again after long standby... anyone got the same issue? Problem will resolve if we connect to a charger and then disconnect it. Then the devlice will start again.

I cant turn my device on!! It shut off and it flashes the red blinking light once then 8 times. It repeats this while its plugged in.

I had same issue and got an answer from the BlackBerry Customer Support: "Can you please ensure that you have the latest Desktop Software installed? It should be version 7.1 bundle 33, if not please upgrade to that version. Then try to repair the device by turning it off then on again and immediately connecting it to the Desktop Software. This should prompt to repair the device by reloading the OS. Please keep the device connected to a charging source after the reload."

For me this worked well, it downloaded 2 modules and installed the OS completely new. It also fixed the issue with the system font I had before.

Yup, I saw that on the forums and it worked. I got it from the blackberry beta zone.
