Streaming Media in Browser

Can the Blackberry Simulator play streaming media, such as m.youtube.com or blueapple.mobi ? I have several simulators on several computers, including the Bold 9650, but they all give me a "Player Error" of some sort. I've tried going through youtube's 'Optimize' procedure as well with no luck. Is this just a limitation of the simulator?

This is a limitation of the BlackBerry smartphone simulator.

 

Neither the BlackBerry Browser (BlackBerry Enterprise Server) nor Internet Browser (BlackBerry Internet Service) are able to stream an RTSP video (used by YouTube).  When this is attempted the BlackBerry Smartphone will switch to the Hotspot (WiFi) or WAP Browser, which do, allowing the user to view the video.

 

The BlackBerry smartphone simulator only supports the BlackBerry Browser.
