Unable to browse the web on simulator. Message - unable to connect to selected MDS.

I am trying to test a web site being developed by my team for users having Tour 9630.

So I downloaded and installed the ESS & MDS as well as the Simulator for 9630 on my machine (O/S - Win XP SP3). Then I started the MDS and the Simulator.

First time I was able to use the browser and check the website(s).

After that I am unable to.

I am a non-techie, but am able to follow instructions to troubleshoot. So far no luck.

A quick response will really help and is truly appreciated.

Thanks.

Just curios, did you set any parameters to browse the first time or just launch and go> I downloaded the BlackBerry_MDS_EMAIL 4.1.4, launched it and started the 9520 simulator and the browser times out.

I just want to send and recieve email,, thats all but I can't get ANYONE to offer help. just questions

The Testing and Deployment board is notoriously inactive. I would suggest airing any issues on the Java or Web Development boards.

Can you elaborate on what is not working?  Does the MDS-CS simulator fail to start?  If not, is there activity in its window when you try to browse?  Do you receive any error messages within the BlackBerry smartphone simulator?
