Web application on local host

I'm trying to run web application deployed in tomcat at local host:8080 but is not working on blackberry simulator

You may have a port conflict because port 8080 is the default push port used by the MDS-CS SImulator, which you need to run in order to use the BlackBerry Browser in the BlackBerry smartphone simulator.  You can modify this port in the rimpublic.property file located in the config directory of the MDS-CS Simulator installation directory.

 

Also, keep in mind that you will not be able to browse to "localhost" or "127.0.0.1" in the BlackBerry Browser.  Instead, use the actual machine name or IP address of your PC.
