Hi,i am using blackberry smartphone simulator 5.0.0.34 .I want to configure SD card so when i click on the option simulate from the drop down menu change SDcard and click on the add directory,when i am trying to add the directory then it is showing api failure(de372) an unsupported api was called - fsmountsync.What to do inorder to resolve this.What changes i have to do.

No my problem is not resolved.Still i am getting the api failure when i try to configure the sd card of the blackberry simulator.

I did what is there in the link which you've provided. BlackBerry JDE--- EDIT--Preferences--Simulator---Memory---Use PC File System for SD card files--- Browse-- C:\Program Files\Research in Motion\BlackBerry Smartphone Simulator 5.0\5.0.0.34\SDCard.I have created a folder named SDCard in the 5.0.0.34 simulator where it was installled.After that i when i started the simulator and did simulate----change SDCard--add directory after the directory is added the api failure error it is showing that an unsupported api was being called and apifailure(de372) fsmountsync.

Is this happening with all simulators or just a particular one?  What BlackBerry smartphone simulator model and BlackBerry device software version are you testing on?  You can find this under Options, About on the BlackBerry Smartphone.

BlackBerry smartphone simulator version is 5.0.0.34 and the blackberry jde i am using is 5.0

I tried this configuring the sd card in blackberry simulator 4.7 it worked but the problem comes only in the blackberry smartphone simulator 5.0.0.34

I should work on the 5.0.0.34 simulator only and with the sd card.

Options-->memory-->media card is not presently inserted in the device .After i got the api failure error when i try to change sd card then it is showing as media card cannot be accessed.

It is showing the dialog as media card cannot be accessed due to fatal errors please see //go/sdcard for details on how to report this to developers .Where can i find //go/sdcard in the simulator
