Re: web deployment of java app with some libraries

the other application files are located in my projects inside eclipse

I only copied the jad files to a special directory to join them

from the documentation I couldn't see that all must be there - I thought the Updatejad only combines the contents of the jad files

if I need all I can change it easy

[ Edited ]

It requires the COD files as well.  It checks their size and updates the JAD file accordingly.

It should give an error if it can't find the COD files.  Not sure why it isn't in this case.

Re: web deployment of java app with some libraries

sorry it doesn't work

now I tried it using the folder from where all single jads could be installed from web

all cod's and .jad's are available

even trying only to combine 2 jad's doesn't work - there was no error msg

Re: web deployment of java app with some libraries

Can you combining JAD files from a pair of the samples included with the BlackBerry Java SDK?

That'll help to narrow down whether there is a general problem with updatejad on your system or if it's failing with something specific in your JAD files.

Re: web deployment of java app with some libraries

I'm just t customer site (blackberry workshop) and will do some tests on wednesday

in the meantime I did also some tests using bb-ant to create one jad for my cod's - this works and I'm getting a one-click-web-installation

but this kind of app doesnt work the same as installing from alx or OTA one-jad-after-the-other -

I'll report in detail later
