Do you know which port the SSL protected content is on.. typically I think SSL is typically port 443

 

Try setting the port in your config.xml so you would be using

 

https://edugate.ksu.edu.sa:443

the port no. is 443 I try it  but with no change :'(

 

do  u think there is wrong thing in URL

?

 

is it right way to call function & send its  parameters ?

Some ideas:

 

Is there a reason you are using activeX object for your request object?

 

Paste your url into a browser and see if you get a response;

 

You may want to see if you need to set your requestheader;

 

You should do your send after setting the callback function;

 

Set alerts in the callback function to check .readyState and .status.

 

There are plenty of good examples on how to structure your request: you might want to review those.

when I paste url there is no result

this ws use ssland when I wrote asp.net web app to access it I use certificate to authinticate clint

but from BB widget I don't know of I have to do that ??
