Announcing Pervasync 2.0 and Gears SQLite Support

Last year around this time, we released Pervasync 1.0. Now, Pervasync database synchronization has become a proven solution with mission-critical businesses relying on it to keep their local databases in sync with their central databases.

Pervasync 2.0 contains fixes to bugs found by early adopters of Pervasync 1.0. Nevertheless, we have added new features such as email notification and user-friendly GUI installers for both server and clients etc. etc.

The most important new feature of Pervasync 2.0 is the support of the Google Gears SQLite database as a client database. Now, you can synchronize your central Oracle or MySQL databases not only with your Oracle XE and MySQL databases on desktop and laptop machines, but also with the SQLite databases embedded in Firefox, Internet Exployer, Chrome, Windows Mobile bases devices, Android based devices and  Blackaberry 5.0 devices. This is an import step toward Pervasync’s goal: providing synchronization for Pervasive Computing.

Visit http://www.pervasync.com today and test drive Pervasync 2.0!

Enjoy!
