I am sending application to the blackberry handphone containing an attachment that I want to open using the download folder. The mime type of the attachment is "application/octet-stream". The file extension is ".cod". can any body help?

problem is solved (using companent 5.0) but i have new problem when open file "cod" show this comment :"Resources does not exist". can someone help me? i dont understand

Hi botaxsmaniz,
From what I understand from your posts, you are attempting to email a "cod" as an attachment to a BlackBerry and have the user download the attachment and have it install. Is this correct?
If this is the case, it is not possible to install an application in this manner.

The easiest way to email your application to someone else is to email them a URL to an installation JAD file. The tooling should create a JAD file for you that you can host on any web server. You then basically email the URL to the hosted JAD file and when the user clicks on the link the install process will begin
