Hello Friends,

I am developing an application using webworks.

I have downloaded the example form below link.

When I am running this application in Blackberry 9800 device and simulator sometimes it works and sometime

it crash on launch.

My Device : 9800

Device OS : 6.0 Bundle 695 (6.0.0.246 platform 6.4.0.105)

Webwork SDK version : WebWorks SDK 2.3

When I am trying to update the OS of Device, it says there is no upadate available.

Please help me to solve this problem.

That simulator was one of the earliest releases of the 6.0 simulator, and sometimes the simulator performance is not very good. I'd recommend downloading a later release of the 6.0 simulator, so that you get one that is more stable.

Actually I am getting this issue on Device.

Can you try updating the SDK and your phone software? There are newer versions of both available.

I m using webwork SDK 2.3.

But what do you mean about both SDK?

There is a 2.3.1 SDK available, and 6.0.0.246 is fairly early software for your phone. There are later versions available that will have fixes in them. Check blackberry.com/update to get the latest software that your carrier has approved.

Can we Update any mobile with new OS ?

The software has to be approved by the carrier in order for it to be available.

Hi twindsor, I'm having same issue here with my Torch 9800 device running 6.0.0.284.

I'll try to upgrade my OS soon and see if it'll help.

But does this mean devices with OS 6.0.0.284 and lower ( OS 5.0 - OS 4.5 ) cannot run webworks app without crashing?

Can I find a documentation somewhere that gives me browser compatibility list, I mean like which version of OS is safe from crash and which are not? So far I've noticed there is a hard limit of memory set aside for all browserfield instances (including webworks apps) and this amount appears to change between different versions of the OS.
